The Kemp Valley Group was formed by local residents concerned about proposals for an incineration plant at  Shropshire Highland Seeds in Brockton, South Shropshire. 

The proposal for Brockton was abandoned in favour of a new site at Crowgate Business Park in Bishop`s Castle. The Kemp Valley Group actively oppose this development as do the people of the town, visit www.bishopscastlegroup.org.uk for up to date information.

The Kemp Valley lies within a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Brockton is a small Hamlet within this AONB that is recognised by the Campaign for the Protection Of Rural England as one of the last tranquil areas in England.
